While they were schizophrenics and it worked? Did the weight stay off?
My husband had a gastric bypass and it worked, but he’s not schizophrenic. I don’t know if it works for people with schizophrenia.
I want to. I don’t see why it wouldn’t work as long as you keep up with the requirements and don’t fall back to bad habits.
O I hope it does. I would feel like a whole other person if it did.
My husband’s weight before the gastric bypass was 134 kg and now he is 72 kg.
Your right @LED. I’m ready to put in the work.
How much is that in pounds? I have a consult for one in March.
I don’t know. Sorry.
That’s okay I’ll look it up. Thank you
Google says that 134 kg are 295’4 pounds and 72 kg are 158’7 pounds.
He lost quite a bit of weight
Yes. He looks very diferent now.
Lol yeah that’s what I need
Why not try the carnivore diet first ?
Gastric bypass is the gold standard weight loss operation that has been around since 1967. The results, however, are only as good as the surgeon who performance the surgery and the patient who uses it well. In terms of ultimate weight loss, the bypass would be #1 followed closely by sleeve. The band would be a distant third. For fixing problems like diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, sleep apnea, the ranking is the same. Sleeves are a good option for someone without diabetes or heartburn. If you have those problems or have a BMI over 50, then the bypass is a better option. It works. But I favour doing anything and everything else possible first.
It works fine for most. Be careful though bc I knew a woman who died from complications.
I’ve tried everything and I feel like I’m 80 years old instead of 41. It’s very hard for me to get around. I’m pushing 300 pounds and my body isn’t used to it.
Thank you. I will be careful.
