My wife refers to me as “The Goof” and I wear the title with pride.

YES: “Complicated” several times, by psychiatrists and nurses. If they are polite they call “me” for “it” as in: “it is a complex case.” - i cry inside everytime they do it, and feel like a nuisance to the system.

Whats complex about me is not my person, but that i can take about any drug without any effect. Im impossible to medicate.

Now im finally settled on 10 mg olanzapine a day and a heavy dose of MAO-i

I was in the ER and told the doctor my psych symptoms and as he walked back down the hall away from me he twirled his finger near his head in that “crazy person” gesture. I had another nurse who was pushing my bed to the ICU after an overdose who kept telling me that I “did it for attention” and wouldn’t stop saying it until I agreed with her. I hate the hospital here.

An ex used to call me a psycho when I was with him and he didn’t get things his way.

A sibling once called me a freak in an argument due to my weird eating habits.

And ‘extra’ which I felt was cos I was living off benefits at the time. And they felt I didn’t need to be. Anyway I’m not sure what they meant by ‘extra’

I am so sorry about your experience with those hospital workers. You most definitely did NOT do it for “attention”. If they had paid attention in school they would know that @WhiteRaven.

Yes, don’t take it personally, happen to the best of us. Naming its not really a constructive opinion. Selfdoubt is sometimes a good thing i guess.

I had an ex who told me I had “crazy eyes.” She said she could tell I was nuts just by looking at me. I asked why she was dating me then :rofl:

My dad likes to call me lazy because I don’t work.
