I know a math teacher who has her students bring a pie every 3/14 and they party.

that’s an approximation. pi is not a rational number.

it’s irrational.

if you divide 22 by 7, eventually you will get different digits that don’t align with a finer approximation of pi

My nerdy boarding school (high school) once held a competition to see who could memorize the most digits of pi on pi day, and someone got well over 100 of them right. It was really cool.
