Happiness and money

Well, you didn’t say that before. I can see where money is a negative thing when rich, powerful people are making money by taking advantage of other people or using up too many natural resources.

Like I said before, I want good values and money. There’s nothing wrong with having some money. Having money does not exclude you from being happy.

The topic of money is now causing Awful FISSURES in my family.

Its so stupid and tragic.

Things had to be calibrated in such a way that I’m being pushed to work.

But my Father doesn’t have to treat his(And mom’s) Estate as a Surprise.
And my mother could’ve mentioned that I contribute cash for food to my sister.

The three children are engaged I think in what is called “Deal Heat”. Though Im not 100 percent sure that is the right words.

I think having where to live having food and some things for a hobby, and clothes is enough to live happy

People are different; they desire different things. It may make you or me happy to have just the basics but It may make other people happier to have a bit more.

Try developing photography skills with no photo gear.

Try being a digital artist with no corresponding hardware.

Try being a cook without a food budget.

Money is necessary.

Yeah tanks for example and castles

I said nothing bad having some toys , I just say that having a lot of money is not key element for happy life

Having a lot of money is key for a happy life for me. I get very little money from SSI and can never afford enough food and calories. The food shelf here mostly gave me cans of vegetables the one time I went there a few years ago which still wasn’t enough calories and was too much sodium as I have high blood pressure from becoming obese because of being forced to take Olanzapine for six months from 2015 to 2016.

Most here are agreeing with you, if not 100 percent.

The show which was the Sopranos prequel had the late Ray Liotta in prison, and he has conviction that its “The Want” is what drives a person nuts.

Money is part of life so its important but its not everything. Whats the point in having tons of money if you’re a criminal. I don’t want that life. I want a big brain instead as that gets me everything including money lol

I got my inheritance and my husband and I paid off all of our debt and bought a used car. I am happier, because of this. We can even go on a vacation over Christmas break. I have medical and dental insurance and a small townhouse with no mortgage . I feel lucky and blessed. Money helps with happiness.

They say over a certain point money doesn’t make you any more happy. The cut off was somewhere after maybe $80000 or 120,000 a year. Idk though. My problem with ultra wealthy people is they have to much influence and also the way people look up to them. Like meritocracy extends all the way up to the billions.

Maybe, maybe not.

She’s saying she’s happier now that she is out of debt and can afford some extras. Nothing wrong with that.

Yeah pretty much. I think it was warren buffet that said at a certain point it is just fancier stuff. And he pointed out we all eat at the same restaurants, shop at the same malls ect. It made sense how he said it, but that statement isn’t totally accurate. I do believe having your own villa in France by the water sounds better than some $500,000 home in the suburbs. I think I’d enjoy being wealthy though.

I need my money but it doesn’t create happiness just for survival

Edit I’m just repeating myself
