I’m having Haloperidol shots every week. I want to go off of this medication. Unfortunately all psychiatrists I’ve been rejected my wish.

It’s very rare for people to come off meds successfully. I don’t think I’ve met more than five people who have done this in the last twenty-five years. Many of us learn to function well on lower doses, but I stop functioning and relapse when I go to no dose. I have accepted that I am on medication for life.

Getting off the meds will trigger relapse and you’ll have to start all over again.
