About two years ago i woke up in a morning and i saw a man in my room laughing of me. I was frightened for a few seconds. It was a visual hallucination.

I’ve had my share of visual hallucinations. Most all of them were innocent and neutral, but once, before I was on meds, I saw a woman’s face turn into a monster. It wasn’t too scary, but it was enough to leave me shaken for the remainder of the day. I have more auditory hallucinations that visual though.

Sounds like it would have been quite frightening. I haven’t had any visual hallucinations myself. I do get auditory hallucinations and i’ve had tactile hallucinations.

Now i rarely have visuals but some months ago, I used to see very complex images in objects.
I saw two gypsies having sex when I was looking at a tree. I saw a frightening old woman.
Recently i have seen cats, flashes of light, black dots etc.

Do you have PTSD? I have this symptom as well. I have PTSD from my experience of abuse/bullying at school, and I frequently hallucinate bullies harassing me or teachers hitting me with a stick. I think it’s more of the words that they said to me that hurt the most. It comes to me when I have flashbacks.

I one time hallucinated a creepy girl chasing me in my room, now that was scary.

@anon10648258 I don’t think i have PTSD. Yes i have been bullied at school. They did to me awful things but i got over it. It was not only simple words. Anyway i don’t want to talk about this. I have more voices than visual hallucinations.
I see, I am so sorry for bringing it up…
I also have more voices than visual hallucinations, although they come together for most instances.
My voices tend to change their tone of voice to talk to me, which scares me a lot.

I had a visual hallucination with a bat in my room. Also of dimming lights in my room, something see out a movie. But both weren’t to frightening.
