Some of you might remember me posting about my grandpa who has lung, liver and bone cancer.
He took a turn for the worst this morning. I had to call an ambulance for him.
He was extremely out of breath, the worst ive ever heard of him (he also has COPD) he couldnt stand up by himself. My grandma and I tried to lift him up but with no success. He eventually had to lay on the ground. He then asked me to call 911 for him.
The paramedics came, they took his blood pressure and it was 60/30. That’s extremely low.
The paramedic also said that she thought his pacemaker might not be working.
I might go see him in the hospital later. I will take my ativan before if i do go. Hospitals give me bad anxiety. Too many people.
@anon55031185 - Not good… they have him on oxygen. His legs are infected and he’s on anti biotics. His kidneys are failing and they might have cancer too. Thanks for asking.
Awwww. I’m so sorry he is suffering. Hopefully you get to spend a lot of time with him to comfort him. I know it’s stressful for you, too so be easy on yourself.
