Had my job interview

I should find out today if I got to next stage

The guy was asking me questions on Skype for 45 mins

My voice was shaking and I was really nervous - as well as feeling awkward

Then I said I expected the higher end of the salary but they are considering me for 2 jobs at the same company

Not sure what’s going to happen

I really hate the way candidates are in competition with each other for these things

A bit low as I hate not knowing

Hope it works out for you. I do well with interviews but still find them stressful to the max. You did well to get through it and good luck!

Thanks guys

I am wrestling with the fact I have no upcoming landscaping work and going back to data jobs might be too much for me

We’ll see what happens

Just don’t understand why they insist on putting people with good experience through interviews

Feels like starting from scratch

Don’t worry too much. You’ve got the experience they need. Hopefully they will give you the job offer soon.

Are you going back to data?

I work in an office doing sales. Sometimes I find it most challenging to do small talk and be normal. It’s harder than the job itself. Sometimes I say weird things and not realize it and there like okaaay you crazy lol

I got a invite on Linked in from a competitor to my old agency and they seem interested in hiring me

My role before was in a niche industry for field marketing and there are not many people with my specific experience

My plan later is to go more remote instead of in office. Like 3 days remote 2 days office or something

This would be a hybrid role too

I did full time office pre COVID and like you I got stressed from it

I hope you get offered the job and at the salary you want. These days, many companies are very open to telecommuting if the job can be done remotely.

I hope you get the job. Part of interviewing people is getting a feel for how this person will fit into our office. And remember, you’re interviewing them too to determine if it’s a good fit in your opinion

If you get this job do you think you might be feel better ?

Sounds like you have what they need for the job.

Best of luck with it @Joker :four_leaf_clover:

Good luck, hope it works out for you @Joker

I went through this process about 4-5 month ago applying for jobs. I applied for a lot of job, most ignored me, had a few interviews, finally landed a job.

I think most people are nervous on interviews, that’s normal. What makes me nervous is those questions they ask me that I wasn’t expecting, I bungled one on my interview fortunately they didn’t hold it against me and I still got hired.
