The power company was doing work so had a few minutes without electricity. I have realised I am a slave to technology

I am using a laptop and when a power is out, my laptop has its own battery. When I was younger in America I was very connected to the Internet, I had joined many mailing lists and I had my own mailing list of over thousand international people. But when I started getting sz symptoms and depression I gradually stopped my internet activities. One of my hobbies was to gather cryptographic algorithms and other information. But then it stopped, well that was already in the 1990s.
