I’m guilt tripping about stuff that happened decades ago. The voices calm down and then I start thinking about past mistakes.

Ask yourself two questions. Do you feel bad about it? Yes? And would you do it again? No?
That really is the end of the story, though I know it’s not easy to let go of that train of thought sometimes

Guilt is one of the most crippling things a person can experience. But it’s also a good reminder that you’re no longer the same person you were back then.
