Not sure if this is slightly crazy, but I have in the past lobbied the MP’s for housing and planning around using solar panels on all new build houses. Similar to the this: https://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/mar/20/france-decrees-new-rooftops-must-be-covered-in-plants-or-solar-panels Only to have all not just hosing and commercial properties in commercial zones.
The commission on climate change are considering it as possible advice to the govt and I’ve also emailed the Green part, whom told me to influence policy I need to be a member, lol
Anyway I have a template email I use and I’ve sent it off as there was a ministerial reshuffle after the snap elections.
It’s something I feel passionate about and have never felt embarrassed about Lobbying the Govt on this issue!
