The robots weren’t controlled by thoughts alone, they had receivers in them, and the people transmitting thoughts were hooked up to machines.
What happens is that thoughts are electrical impulses that can be read by machines. The machines in question interprets the signals and sends them to the robots.
So telepathy in itself is still not possible, but machines can decode our thoughts into comprehensibe data.
Please fact-check before you present things as facts, especially if those subjects could fuel other people’s delusions.

Scientists have been using cat and mri scanning techniques to map what emotions go happen where in the brain, for an example.
There’s even computers that can see the outlines of an image you’re thinking of when you’re hooked up to them.

Sounds like a guy is just playing cards for hype.
He can’t validate any of that is true… Telepathy has never been demonstrated to exist under any level of practical or scientific scrutiny…
For an astrophysicist… it’s frankly wrong for him to be projecting an emphasis on metaphysical things… As he has a real refined science to work on the boundaries of… he shouldn’t be making wild proclamations about what lies way way out in the potentials unknown…
He’s suggesting that these things still haven’t been disproven… that’s basically the same as anything else human beings like believing that in the end just isn’t true.
