I saw my pdoc this morning. Talked about going on Abilify, but he said he was going to be honest, I do so well with Invega he is afraid to see me slip backward and get worse becaus e Invega is the best med for schizoaffective so far. So I am scaling back to 1 shot a month. He said he was proud of how I respond and am doing.
He also soothed my fears about my diagnosis, I AM schizoaffective bipolar and they do use the old insurance code for bipolar. Makes me feel more like I belong here.
Glad you had a good meeting with your pdoc. Sounds like things are going well for you. Keep doing what you’re doing. Hopefully things will only get better for you.
Good job on the weight loss, too! That is something many of us struggle with.
I’m glad to hear you’re doing so well! Congrats on the weight loss. It’s not easy on antipsychotics, but it can be done. I’m down five pounds in seven weeks so far.
