Grand opening of supportive housing for Edmontonians suffering from schizophrenia

Some Good news on housing for some people - of course it needs to be available in many more areas of the world:

Mental health patients at risk of homelessness now have more Edmonton housing.

Homeward Trust Edmonton and the Schizophrenia Society of Alberta on Thursday officially opened supportive housing to 21 patients who now call Iris Court, near 85 Avenue and 90 Street, home.

“We are pleased to partner with Homeward Trust Edmonton and other local organizations on initiatives that help prevent homelessness,” said Candice Bergen, Minister of State for Social Development.

This is such positive news!
We really need this here…
