Got a Covid19 test

My psychiatric care provider isn’t going to let me come in for therapy unless I got a Covid19 test. I was sick Tuesday and yesterday, but am better today.

I don’t have a car, so I walked a mile to my psychiatric care provider. The nurse came out and did the test. At first she wanted me to drive to the test site and said they wanted to save their tests for people who don’t have a way to get around. I told her I didn’t have a way to get around.

Then the social worker didn’t want me to walk home, so they paid for a Lyft ride share home. You are really not supposed to do that.

Anyway now I have to stay at home and wait for the test results.

Walking is healthy if you don’t have pain from walking.

I hope it comes back negative. When do you think you’ll find out the results?

I have no idea. They didn’t say.

It’s good you got tested @anon54988740. Hopefully you get the results fairly quickly.

I have arthritis in my left hip and knee which hurts. My doctor wants me to walk however. He says being inactive makes it worse.

Maybe you can walk in the house and use a free step counter app on your phone? That’s what I do, I am paranoid of going outside.

I live downtown in the city. I only go out during the daylight hours. Maybe once every couple of months there are gunshots outside my apartment building on the street. It used to just be at night, but the last time it was around 4 in the afternoon.
