I’m sorry to hear that @shutterbug.
I had a great life in the 80’s. I was a young kid. We moved and chronic depression set in at 12 in 1990. Now I enjoy 80’s music because it reminds me of being a happy kid.

Definition of the 1980s:
Pixar was still in diapers so good old fashioned cartoons were the rage. I am talking Ducktales, Tailspin, and The Rescue Rangers.
It was a good distraction from the old and cold mobile home I grew up in.

The early 80’s was all about suffering for me. The middle 80’s was just being stable and enjoying life. The last part of the 80’s was drug addiction. I did a lot of fun stuff but the drugs got to be too much so I got clean in 1990.

The 80s were great. I was in high school and a young man in the Navy. I graduated in 88.
Into all the hair bands and concert tickets were like $16.
For me the 80s was my childhood, drawing, playing with good friends, the A Team, E.T and Jaws stuff like that very 80s memory’s, seems like another world nowadays.

The 80’s were a time of trauma and good times. My dad clipped our brake lines on our car during this decade. So I was very confused about how someone who was supposed to love me would do something so evil. Oh well I have a good life and am thankful for what I do have.
