Going back to calorie counting

Instead of making “healthy food choices” this time I’m taking the attitude that no calories are bad, just the amount. I think this is one of the reasons I failed in the past.

So I’m going to find out what foods I actually could eat all day long and then just limit my intake. Well within reason anyway. I’m not going to eat burgers and fries everyday.

Also I’ll be using a new calorie counting app ! So how can I fail !

I intend to start in about a week (when I get my next lot of groceries delivered).

Wish me luck !

Best of luck!!! :slightly_smiling_face:

I use the Samsung Health App since the beginning of summer the count calories and steps and it has helped me a lot to realize what type of food make you get a lot of calories.

You may be interested in this app called Better Habits. I started using it to help form a habit of calorie counting, as well as playing trumpet, working out, and going to bed earlier (its obviously not working too well considering it’s 4:50am lol) Basically every time you perform habit you’re trying to form on a given day, you give yourself a rep which moves you up on the progress bar. When you don’t perform the habit, you lose progress. When your rep progress reaches the end, the habit is formed and should be more or less effortless to sustain. it’s based on behavioural psychology, some smart people made it, here’s the link
