God, I'm glad I quit smoking

Some friends of someone dropped in and they wreaked of smoke. Our house has been smoke free for years and I didn’t realize what a pleasure it is.

I quit cold turkey back in 1983 in my first year of nursing school due to peer pressure. All the other nursing students made me feel like ■■■■ for smoking.

Late this year and I’ll be 10 years without cigs. Best thing I did for my health as I often say but I agree. It’s good not having that monkey on your back.
