If he broke the law ok report it on local news but saying he is mentally ill is unnecessary he’s just any other person who broke the law.
It annoys me too. They always mention if someone has a mental illness.

It just keeps perpetuating stigma-- totally unnecessary and annoying to be quite honest

I never thought as sz as something that makes someone violent, but they might start to believe certain things and sometimes act like they would do if the situation was real.
