Ginseng for depression / negative symptoms

Has anybody else tried ginseng? I find it helps with depression or negative symptoms similar to sarcosine but not as strong and without any side effects

If used long term it can affect your hormones. That’s why I don’t take it.

I never use medications long term or regularly. I like stuff like for example honey is better taken irregularly!

Panax ginseng is POSSIBLY UNSAFE when taken by mouth, long-term (more than 6 months). Researchers think it may have some hormone-like effects that could be harmful with prolonged use

my favorite pdoc warned me not to take ginseng in any form because it is bad for schizophrenics.

I don’t take Ginseng because it will trigger mania and worsen my anxiety.
It also can make things worse for psychosis.
Not a good drug to be on long term if you suffer from SZA or Schizophrenia.

L tryptophan got rid of my depression twelve years ago. It has one side effect but im going to start taking it again anyway.

Ginseng really gives me a boost here and there I don’t take it hourly more like once in a good while.
