This is the last month we can probably get by without any help financially from family and friends…we’ve already had a lot of help with Angie and my family and next month the air conditioning bill is going to raise by $100…that is really going to hurt us…scared out of my wits for Angie to get a job now…it’s been five months living on my check alone…I’m just whining I guess but I am so stressed out right now.
I’m sorry, that sounds really stressful. I hope Angie can find something, soon!

Can she do a work from home type job? I know Amazon was hiring for a while.

thanks @LED I will tell her about it…I just called the electric company and tried to get on monthly average billing to save us but they said we have to make the payments on time and I can’t do that because I pay each month on the 3rd and it is due on the 24th of the previous month to stay on average billing…so bummed.

See if the electric company will work with you to find a better arrangement for paying your bill. They might think it is better to work with you than to have to wait for your payment every month. Be assertive. If an electric company employee is unsympathetic, tactfully ask if you can talk to someone higher up. Another thing you might do is see if you can buy food that is near its expiration date on the shelf at a very good discount. I think a guy who used to live in the assisted living center where I stay did that. I think that can be done with other goods, like clothes. You can buy nice looking stuff that is a little out of fashion at a very good discount. Store managers can be flexible about that kind of thing if you approach them right. By the way, I’ve been trying to buy your book on Amazon. I typed in all the needed information on my debit card to order it yesterday, but I got an e-mail today that said I had given wrong information on my debit card. I’ve tried and tried to correct the information, but my computer won’t let me do it. It’s terribly frustrating. I get mad about it when I think about it. I know I typed in the right information on my card, but I’m still getting these messed up statements. I should get the situation corrected one way or another.

I used your link the first time I tried to order it, but then I left the site, and when I tried again to buy your book I got a hold of it through amazon. Give me the link again and let me see if I can get the correct information on my order.

Jukebox, I just put in an order for your book, but I don’t know if it will succeed, because I could not change the erroneous information in my order. That’s what happened last time. I successfully placed the order, but then I got an e-mail that said they couldn’t deliver your book because I had put in erroneous information. I tried and I tried to change the information, but it wouldn’t work. I’ll keep you posted as to how this order is going.
