I’m trying to learn to redirect my aggressive feelings. Any change is difficult but I think it would be worth it if it works. This includes aggressiveness against myself.

Learning to control aggression is really important. I’m glad you decided to work on that

I noticed that I tend to avoid thinking about my head and that includes my mouth. So hitting was an easier reaction when upset.
Try calming techniques like boxed breathing. It might help
Yes. I am supposed to be working on my breathing anyway. But that does involve my head.
