Hi my doc is thinking about taking me off risperdal and putting me on generic abilify I see her in June. What’s been your opinion on abilify? Thank you
It didn’t work for me but it’s a newer drug relatively so if the risperdal isn’t working great it could be worth a shot. I’m sure your doctor will have an opinion…psychiatry is a bit of an art so they may think it’s worth the change.
There is a “newer” injection for abilify but I have found it lasts longer keeping my symptoms away it doesn’t wear off like the maintena does.
