Makes sense I was told I had GD before I had schizophrenia.
I live as a male but I identity more as a female.

Interesting, I experience gender dysphoria and have SZA. I identify as gender queer.

At one point I was dxed with schizophrenia with disorder of gender identity. I was about 9 when the feelings first appeared. For many years I was fixated about changing sex . Then over time the feelings subsided. Whether that was a indication that the urges had been delusional or mental self preservation kicking in, ie accepting due to psychiatric and social reasons a sex change was never going to happen and thus adjusting my thinking to cope, is open to debate.
