Today i had a.bomb shell dropped on me. As a few of you already know ive had so much going on lately but it just got worse

So i find out today we were not exempt from council tax and we owe alot ALOT of money.

On top of this inrecenrly discovered my partner has spent literally hundreds of pounds on nintendo games for his switch behind my back

Im so so angry he has racked up 2k of debt spending on games.

We have been on the phone all day sorting out an IVA for him to collect all this debt in an affordable monthly payment.

Things just arent good atm

Dont know how we will go foward from here but we are going to set up a joint bank account tomorrow

He can be so ■■■■■■■ selfish

Ugh. I’m sorry. Money problems are not fun, especially as a couple.

Yes, does he even play the games? Some people just buy games and don’t play. It’s very weird!

Im just glad its.come to light now before baby is born. And god forbid anything is wrong with this baby because of all the stress i will be blaming him and his mother.

Yes! I’ve heard about people doing this. I don’t understand why? Why buy games and not play them. They just collect games but games are worthless. It’s not worth collecting them.

Especially digital which is what he has been buying

Even worse! Om sorry he’s been doing this behind your back. If anything, he should save money for the baby.

You have the right to be very angry.

I have to keep calm though for babies sake.

Sorry @Qwerty . It sounds like a pretty frustrating situation.

Jeez, Qwerty. This sounds awful, and I’m so sorry. I’m on the opposite side of things 99.9% of the time, but keeping trust is just vital, especially with a large sum like that. Take care of you and the little one you’re growing.

Dang ma’am, I’m sorry you’re having to deal with all this stress, and especially while carrying your little one.

I’ll be sure to throw a big raunchy poo egg at your husband LOL.

I would double check the council tax support. If you are diagnosed with SZ or SZA you can still claim under the severely mentally impaired’ (SMI) if you have these conditions as SZ and SZA are severe mental impairments and are recognised under SMI. You might not be able to get the full 100% support if your partner works but you should still be entailed to some support.
