There’s a 7-11 store next to my house. I’m there on a regular basis. I don’t bug anyone on purpose and sometimes I talk to other customers. I talk to the employees behind the counter but I can’t tell if they like me or not.
A college university is a 5 minute walk away and my whole block is almost all frat houses and sorority houses so there is almost always young college students inside the 7-11 every day. I’m pretty comfortable in there and I talk to the young people and they seem to like it so I will stick with success and keep minding my own business except to say hilarious stuff to them (well, it’s hilarious to me anyways. I’m not always sure if they get my humor but most of them laugh.)
Earlier today I was in the store getting some ice and I got in line to pay for it. I’m 56 years old and I’ll make an effort to talk to anyone of any age. There was a lot of people in there today and I was standing in line and a little blonde woman in a dress was about two feet from me. She looked at me and I looked at her. We just looked each other in the eye and we were just two humans looking at each other and I just laughed and said, “Well, here we are. What’s up?”
We were just two people looking at each other and it was funny. She was in her twenties This girl (excuse me. This WOMAN) had green and blonde hair, bright red lipstick, and she was wearing a form fitting dress slit all the way up her thigh and she was cute. Her boyfriend was standing next to her.
Her hair was wet so when she answered my question she said, “I just got out of the pool”. She kinda stood out from everybody and with looking like I described she, looked like she was wearing a costume or something with the green hair. So I said, “I don’t want to offend you but you look like you are wearing a Halloween costume!!!” He boyfriend and her both laughed and she said, “It doesn’t offend me.” And we all had a good laugh.
