Funny how time slips away part 2

I say part 2 because I’ve posted the “Funny how time slips away” title before.

I thought about 10 minutes had passed , but when I looked at the clock 40 minutes had passed !

that’s a line from “Glory Days” by The Boss.

so true though.

I looked at the clock and an hour had passed. They just seem to be going so fast, and poof a week is gone, then another week and another. Before we know it will be Halloween.
Sept through December is typically a rough time for me. Well it has been for the past two years.

I’m not sure what it is about the end of the year but things always go peer shaped. I’m hoping for a more peaceful end to the year this year

November is my favorite month, cuz the leaves are still real pretty,
and sometimes the days can be still warm

and you don’t have to mow, and you don’t have to shovel snow.
I’m usually out walking a lot in that month, and my mood is good.

You describe it well @Daze. I like the colors of the leaves too and the air.

Acute thread drift! Oh well!!

"Now I think I’m going down to the well tonight
And I’m going to drink till I get my fill
And I hope when I get old I don’t sit around thinking about it
But I probably will
Yeah, just sitting back trying to recapture
A little of the glory of, well time slips away
And leaves you with nothing mister but
Boring stories of glory days"
