From Green Lanes to Muswell Hill

Besides being the home of Alexander Palace and the first TV transmitter, Muswell Hill used to be a pilgrimage site for its holy mossy well. I have seen on one ancient map it written “Muscle Hill”. There is a bus root which connects it with Green Lanes, the site of St. Anne’s Hospital for the mentally ill. Anyone here been these ways before;?;

The central church in Muswell Hill is called Saint James’, I’m not expressing any religious opinion about it, merely pointing out a beautiful landmark, at least it looks beautiful in my opinion.

Between Muswell Hill and Green Lanes is Hornsey. Both Green Lanes and Hornsey have their own community internet forums. Muswell Hill doesn’t :frowning:

James Walbourne is originally from Muswell Hill.

Two schools of performing arts for children and young people in Muswell Hill:

1.The Muswell Hill School of Performing Arts: www.mhspa.uk/

2.New London School of Performing Arts: https://nlpac.co.uk/

The Muswell Hill synagogue is on Teatherdown.

A bit out of the way but still local:
