I saw a documentary and they seemed to use Y-shaped twigs of some sort. I think they use whatever works for them. 
there are two types of vineing rod…Y from a fresh tree and two iron rods it works by ions comeing up from the ground. going through the body and pushing out from your hands the rods cross when water cuts off the current .
I’m apparently related to someone who does this. I met them once and they said they can tell things about people when she uses this copper wire. Then her husband or brother or someone said “put that thing away! You can’t do magic!” lol
