Free crypto for those who are into it

I signed up to a website called coinbase a while ago just to check it out, I didn’t buy anything or do any trading, it’s a cryptocurrency website. Today I received an email from them telling me that because I am new, if I watch some videos on their website about certain cryptocurrencies they’ll give me some of said currency.

I watched all the videos, took me about 10 minutes, and they gave me $40.15 in several different cryptocurrencies I hadn’t even heard of before. I converted them all to bitcoin and sent that to my bitcoin wallet.

Just thought I would pass this on to anyone into crypto. I don’t know how long they will have this promotion on for.

I’d be worried it was a scam so they could get a hold of my information

coinbase is a legit bitcoin website. I have used it but I stopped using crypto-currency because its so volatile and Im not good at investing in it.

@anon69073975 beat me to it. Coinbase is legit, its been around since about 2012. They have some of my info but nothing that puts me in jeopardy in any way.

I’m kicking myself in the butt now. I just read that there is a major update to the Ethereum network happening tomorrow and people are predicting it will shoot up the price of Ethereum.

I should have converted that $40.15 into Ethereum instead of Bitcoin.

I have both Bitcoin and Ethereum in my crypto portfolio.

Oh well, even if the price of Ethereum doubled after this upgrade it would only be an extra $40 dollars, not a huge deal.
