Mods why do I not see the true numbers of new posts in each sub section on the forum? Is it because I’m a new user?

I’m on a tablet so I’m unsure if we’re seeing the same thing.
@Moonbeam, @anon4362788, or @Ninjastar are usually the mods on duty around this time. They might know more.

I hobestly don’t know much about the software. I use mobile all the time, anyway. I see the numbers on a post except when theres new posts one something- then it shows a blue circle with the number of new posts.

Also when will I be able to post links again. This new user restriction sucks.

Well, you just joined two days ago. You need to spend time posting and joining in on conversations before the restrictions are lifted. I see you’ve been doing that, so should be soon.
What type of links are you wanting to post?

Occasionally I don’t see the new post numbers (in blue) at all, occasionally I see them for threads I haven’t opened. Both on my phone (using the app) and on my PC in a browser.
It could be a setting or a bug. It doesn’t bother me though. 
@anon84377678 what was your old username? I can possibly restore you to member status
