When my morning routine is thrown off at all, I inevitably forget something. This morning there were only slight differences that I didn’t give much thought to. I grabbed my purse and lunch and got in the car. I paid special attention to my surroundings because I left a little early and it was still pretty dark out. I needed to stop at Walmart, which is on the way, and I do this often. Today, I got to Walmart, parked my car and started walking toward the entrance. My feet didn’t feel right. I thought, “what’s wrong with my shoes?” I looked down to see I was wearing my slippers.
I started laughing (alone in the parking lot) and kept walking… but I had to buy a cheap pair of shoes once I got inside because there’s no way my students would let me get away with wearing slippers all day.
My worst habit is locking my keys in the car. It always happens when I have one extra thing to carry out of my car - it’s like my brain can handle the number of things, but it gets to three and it’s done. Purse, phone, keys - I’m good. Purse, phone, treats for treat day, and keys? Something has to get left behind and it is always, always my keys.
I’m like that, have to turn around and go home on many occasions. When I’m in real bad shape it happens daily. Twice over the years I’ve put my hat on grabbed my keys and headed out only to open the door and the cold air reminding me I was not dressed yet LOL. Good thing I live in a colder climate…

I don’t want to wear slippers. It bothered me that I was walking around a parking lot and Walmart in the slippers I wear around my house. I had to wash the bottom of my slippers when I got home. I’m uptight like that. 
Couple months ago I went to school wearing 2 different shoes! It was pretty funny. No one noticed. I pointed it out to my one friend and we had a good laugh.
I seem to always misplace my keys, my phone, or my sunglasses, Also I forget where I park sometimes.
I forgot about this thread 
Yeah, I’ve been known to look for my sunglasses when they’re on top of my head…
(And one time when I was already wearing them)
