I don’t know, they have done this on people with epilepsy. So far they have not done it for any other disorders. The people with epilepsy were getting brain implants to help control their seizures, so the memory implant was a tag-along. Perhaps they’ll try people with Parkinson’s, since they also sometimes get implants. Alzheimer’s will be another they’ll probably try. Maybe they will. Occasionally, people with sz get deep brain implants. It’s experimental.
