Thought of you @Sherlock
Today I took spicy ground sausage, cooked that then threw in frozen mixed veggies and cooking that all up. It’s going to be what I eat all day tomorrow along with brussel sprouts and green beans
The brussel sprouts I’ll use garlic salt and rep pepper flakes
The green beans will have garlic salt maybe a little pepper
Sounds like it’ll be a good day of eating if you ask me
Roasted jalapenos on toasted focaccia, bruschetta, spaghetti carbonara, tiramisu, and crème brûlée. The jalapeno and bruschetta antipastos were quite good. I liked the flavour of the carbonara but found the store-bought noodles to be lacklustre (I am used to fresh pasta). They also used cheap parmesan cheese and the bacon had mushed - no crispy bacon as a garnish. The tiramisu was very mild. You should be able to taste the espresso, and it was barely noticeable. The chocolate was a bit chalky - they used the cheap stuff. The crème brûlée was the signature dish as it was perfectly executed. The wife and kid found the house white to be mediocre.
The service was excellent. We wound up in the lounge as there was a long wait for tables. It worked in our favour.
Chopped plums, pear, banana,
Mixed with sweet ground cinnamon.
And unsweetened soya yogurt. Poured on top.
Yum and so refreshing.
Aiaiai I want that. Still paying today for the huge dinner with shrimps in garlic butter and burrata salad and apple pie that I shouldn’t be anywhere near to. But I want those pancakes.
We had the om nom noms.
