It’s this recipe except I had white onions instead of red and I only had poblano peppers. I added in a tablespoon of garlic chili sauce to make up for the jalapenos and to add depth.

Does anyone know how to cook split peas? Every time I make them some come out mushy and some come out crunchy even though I cooked them all in the same pot. I followed the instructions.

Roasting pan

Life is like a roasting pan
When it’s new it’s lovely and pristine
But as it ages it becomes stained
With beautiful and terrible things

Beef kafta. I learned about it watching this episode of Milk Street:
