It’s this recipe except I had white onions instead of red and I only had poblano peppers. I added in a tablespoon of garlic chili sauce to make up for the jalapenos and to add depth.
Does anyone know how to cook split peas? Every time I make them some come out mushy and some come out crunchy even though I cooked them all in the same pot. I followed the instructions.
I like them in soup.
Had this yesterday for dinner yellow split pea soup with smoked turkey…
One of the most difficult dishes i have made recently. Boned chicken (free range) stuffed with minced duck, chicken liver and duck fat and herbs thyme, sage, onions.
Roasting pan
Life is like a roasting pan
When it’s new it’s lovely and pristine
But as it ages it becomes stained
With beautiful and terrible things
Yum! Is that garlic sauce?
I feel like my family didn’t properly appreciate the masterpiece that was this pizza (it was bacon and shallots)
Looks delish!

Beef kafta. I learned about it watching this episode of Milk Street:
It’s amazeballs. Also pretty cheap to make.
I had Out of date bread tonight, it was pretty good
Honestly no idea lol it was just called the vegetable combo
