Folate deficiency causes low melatonin

You need folate to methylate other b vitamins.

Folate foods I’m gonna eat is peas, oranges and more garden salads, and more often.There’s lots of food with folate, guess everyone already knows that lol.

I take melatonin now and then, but I’d like to be able to sleep better without drugs, but I like melatonin.

I’m taking betaine (tmg) 500mg again from supplements, and also wheat bran. They are meant to lower homocysteine, but I don’t know my homocysteine levels and can’t be asked to check them.

I guess I need more folate and good b12 foods like beef and chicken.

So tonight we’re having beef burgers with chips and peas.
