Has anyone tried flupentixol in the UK or anywhere else?
How was it, and what sorts of side effects did you get? Can you compare it to abilify/aripiprazole?

I have met lots of people on Fluanxol…From what they told it’s the weakest 1, gen antipsychotics of them.all. And most of those I talked to didn’t gain much weight. They also felt more awake and weren’t having as many negative symptoms compared to other 1. gen antipsychotics.
But because that it.blocks dopamine receptors to a greater degree than sec. gen antipsychotics it’s more prone to cause the extra pyramidal side effects.
it.comes as pills and LAI (depixol)
Fluanxol is often used when the patient feel anoxty or depressed.
I’m on Clopixol depo aswell as 750 mgs Seroquel. Meds complience has been a problem for me but if I don’t take the Seroquel beside the depot I feel miserable.

I see. This is really helpfull. Im thinking about it because i understood its also known as the softest firstgen ap from what i understood too.
People’s experiences have been different tho from the seafch function so i wrote a thread to see if anyone else has an input
