Have you become more gassy, since developing schizophrenia?
Not since developing sz, but some meds seem to cause it for me.

It’s related to diet and medication. Deprocessing my diet and adding more fresh fruit and veg cleared up a lot of the gas issues (to the relief of the missus).
Yes, but we have all seen the diet you live on through your posts. I’d be amazed if you didn’t have tummy issues. I sure as heck don’t want to stand behind you when you cough.

I’ve always had stomach issues but recently it’s been aggravated by Ozempic
Gas is averaging about $3.80 a gallon locally, so I guess I can afford to be a bit gassy.

No, I’m not aware of being more gassy since sz.
Never associated it to SZ but I’m gaseous all the time.
I’m sure it’s normal and depends on what I eat.

I’m not gassy at all on clozapine, but I get so constipated on it that I have to use a laxative once a week just to go poo!
When it comes to flatulence- sometimes there can be more than 4 botty pops ,one after the other. I think it’s age related.

Do your farts, since developing SZ, sometimes, remind you of those of particular other people?
No. They remind me I need to eat less of certain things, but that’s it.
That is the best new term I have learned so far in 2023!
