Fire in the hole

I woke up on Saturday and could not stand. I had extreme pain in my coccyx and could not walk. Now that pain radiates down to my butt hole, I feel I’ve been probed

I wake up with a stiff neck all the time, I do not think it is anything to worry about. You will have just slept uncomfortably. Try light stretches to get used to moving again.

You might (I say might), have a herniated disc. Since the pain and/or lameness is continuing, I would see a doctor.

You might have a cyst there that that’s what happened to me. It hurts a lot. Right on my tailbone. I recommend having a doctor look at it, you might have surgery.

Definitely go to a doctor! Waking up in extreme pain is not normal. It could be any number of things, but it probably requires immediate attention!

Could be your sciatic nerve. Get it checked out with your doctor.

Yeah it’s related to my sciatica I’m sure

I sublux my joints frequently and spend most of my day in extreme pain.
As your title says, I literally feel like I am living inside a pit full of really intense fire. I feel as if my skin is burning and someone is stabbing me with a sharp knife. Or crushing my bones.
I also have a slightly protuded tailbone, and had it since I was little. It was a huge problem during my childhood, but not much anymore.
I think it is a good idea to see a doctor about your pain. Don’t wait long like I did. I still don’t know how long I can live with this intense pain because doctors won’t understand nor examine me thoroughly.
It is so frustrsting. Every day is a time bomb for me.
Do you have a pain med that works for you?
Hoping for a speedy recovery.

@Moonwalker there is a potentially serious complication in sciatica called cause equina

If you are having pain in your back end or numbness there you should totally get it Checked out ASAP
