Finding new Dr.s

Since I can’t post light humorous stuff on this forum without getting attacked or having my thread closed I’ll be like everyone else, for the last 7 years all 6 of my pdocs have been dismissive of my symptoms when I would tell them I paced all day and night and was paranoid all the time even in my house they would say “have you tried not being so paranoid?” Or “have you tried not pacing so much?” I’ve had 4 pdocs disappear on me without a warning and when I needed meds refilled, I recently moved and am in the process of finding a new gp, endocrinologist, and pdoc and I’m nervous I’m just gonna get jerked around again, it stinks having multiple health conditions (I also have scoliosis, hyperthyroid and gout) my life revolves around drs and I haven’t had good experiences, anyone else relate?

I went for years without a doctor, here in Canada it’s pretty hard to find sometimes. At one time, I had a neuropsych, a neurologist, and a psychiatrist. As well as several other doctors that I saw occasionally out of town.

It gets tiresome

I hope you can get things straightened around. You shouldn’t have to go without

I didnt have problems with Drs not recognising positive symptoms but all of them ignore negative symptoms. I think its bcz they cant do anything about negative symptoms.

Haven’t been able to find a new doc since the move. Old one is happy to see me by video for now as I’m not causing her headaches. Still can’t find a new family doc.

I’m older (over 60) and as an older person I have a lot of health conditions and therefore a lot of doctors. I have a GP, pdoc, neurologist, GI doctor, podiatrist, audiologist, optometrist, dermatologist, gynecologist, ENT doctor and dentist.
