Finally getting my meds, then sleep

Was up for 45 hours then 3.5 hours broken sleep followed by what is now up to 56 hours awake, pdoc is calling in an emergency scrip for two weeks of quetiapine. I’ll probably be around 65 hours awake when I get the meds but then I can recover from this withdrawal insomnia. Got to get a ride cause I’m starting to have some weird hallucinations and waves of paranoia. This is my 8th day after cold turkey stop from quetiapine. Never again.

I’m glad you are getting your meds finally. I’ve been worried about you. You need that script!

That’t too much @Funkeldunks. I do not know how can you handle it. That’s quite an ultramarathon

Why did you stop the quetiapine cold turkey?

Thanks ya’ll, it was challenging but being able to talk about it here made a difference. I got a ride coming a little later to get my meds. My doc gave me a refillable scrip in a civilian pharmacy so I am going to have an emergency supply besides what I get from Va. so I have a backup plan to prevent this in the future.
@TreeTop i ran out before I could get bac to Va pdoc, then communication snafu and delayed automated pharmacy delivery. And no refill on my scrip for some reason.

Well that stinks, but glad you got it sorted out and have a safety in place with community pharmacy script.
