most sz folk probably avoid the crowds, but hey it’s festival season here. In town they’re putting on two days of food and cover bands, should be an ok time. I got a new lawnchair I bought just for the occasion. I guess fall is festival season around here, the 3 towns all have their festivals in succession, 3 weeks in a row.
I probably take in 3-5 festivals per year, I imagine that is a lot for a sz. anybody else feel like braven the crowds?
I went to bonnaroo in 04 an reggae fest in Canada in 06 other than that no fest since then. Good times
I had a friend that went camping at Bonnaroo almost every year. that was when we were in our 20’s, I imagine he has a job or something by now.
I went to Voodoo Fest in New Orleans in 2016 and saw Janes Addiction and Ozzy Osborne It’s during Halloween. I don’t know who is playing this year. Think I will look it up. Last year there was no one I was interested in.
sweet. it’s a shame Cincinnati no longer does tall stacks festival, I used to go see music their every time they had it. I saw Rodney crowell, old crow medicine show, betty lavette, buddy guy, blind boys of alabama, and that band that sings ‘impossible germany’ I forget their name, they made it kind of big…o now I remember wilco is the band
I checked the line up and the only act I ever heard of is Marilyn Manson and I only know the song Beautiful People so I probably won’t go again this year. Maybe next year.
