what do you do to change your feelings/emotions?
i think this best thing to do is to talk about it or write things down, you can also do good in order to feel more positive, i am sure there is more, meds make a huge difference but that is something that i can’t control so that is different.
i think thoughts play a big part in the way we feel
for every nagative thought write 10 postives ones, it check mates the nagative ones

I try to stay positive. See that there is hope when it’s dark. Stay out of depression. Start every day with “today is a good day. It will be as I make it”

read
look after the chickens ( have six now )

Replacing one emotion with another helps. If I’m pissed or sad, finding something to elicit a different emotion helps counteract the negative ones. Baby/puppy Youtube videos help. 
If I’m feeling irritated and fed up, I try not to stew in that vibe. To get out of it, I do think about all the lucky breaks I’ve had in life… the people who have come back to me… how much different I was back then instead of now.
I also sometimes get out of the house and do something to give me cheer.
if i am angry I usually listen to angry music to allow myself to process it allow myself to accept the anger and then to release it. I used to think it was bad to feel the emotion anger. So for me to accept it and allow it and to release it is helpful. then i focus on something positive and something to be thankful for
Sometimes I can stop myself from going on an emotional tangent, and sometimes I can’t.
I am a sensitive man and I have emotions about crying when I’m happy that I wish I could control. I cry because when I am happy I think “I never would have been happy now if I’d been successful at killing myself those attempts before”…and boom. I start crying.
