My auditory hallucinations have been getting worse and I feel really lonely because of it. I know that this community is here to help people feel less alone with these struggles, but I’m still feeling more and more lonely the worse it gets. I’m on the best medicine I’ve tried so far, BTW, so I don’t know what else I can do. I don’t want to feel so alone.

I don’t really have any great advice. Just wanted you to know that we’re all here for you whenever you need this place. Sorry you’re going through this. This sz can be a very isolating illness.

They’re normally annoying, frustrating, and/or anxiety inducing. I’ve been hearing a little girl shrieking sometimes. I often get “thoughts” that override what I’m thinking. I can’t tell if they’re intrusive thoughts or a voice, though. They overlap what I’m trying to think and they’re “loud”… not audibly, but louder in the sense that they drown out what I’m trying to focus on or think about. It’s really upsetting sometimes what the thoughts/voice say/says.

Are you on the max dose of your meds? You said they’re the best best meds you’ve been on, maybe a dose increase might help if you’re not on the max dose.
I don’t hear voices but if it’s any consolation I get lonely from time to time too.
Like @disciple said it’s an isolating illness.

I am on 3mg of Vraylar. I went up to 4.5 once, but my vision got really blurry and I was really hungry. Maybe I can try it again, though, and hope I don’t get so hungry this time.

Vraylar is similar to abilify and rexulti so maybe you could try those in the future if you find vraylar good but maybe not good enough.
I found that taking a b complex curbed my abilify induced hunger. It might be worth a go if you go back up to 4.5mg seeing as these 3 meds are so similar.
