Feeling fantastic!

I went to the gym today, for the first time in about three weeks. I had forgotten just how good a nice workout leaves me feeling . I need to get back in the habit of doing that; I have Wednesday off, plan on going then.

I’ve had a productive day so far, which makes me feel good, too. After the gym, I went and got a haircut. I wanted to go home after that, but I pushed myself to go to a thrift store to look at suit jackets and dress pants, things I will need if I get the interview I’m hoping for. I’m sure a lot of people would laugh at the notion of buying a suit at a thrift store, but guess what, I’m poor and I don’t care! Got a decent suit for $15, can’t beat that. I certainly cannot afford to spend $300-400, or whatever it would cost at a store like Kohl’s, JCPenney, etc. Even if I spend the rest of my day just chillin, I’ll still feel like it was a very productive day.

But yeah, I’m feeling great right now! :grinning: Just thought I’d share that, since so often we talk about more negative stuff.

Thrift stores are the best place to get something that might get used only a few times, and the quality is often better than what I can regularly afford.

Got a decent suit for $15.00??

Are you going to look like this at your upcoming job interview?

No, it’s actually a decent black suit.

I was just having a bit of fun with you…

I’ve shopped at Thrift Stores for my daughters for the last decade. All of my own shirts and jeans are second-hand as well. You really can get some great used stuff at these stores…it’s like a treasure hunt!

I’m glad you’re feeling fantastic! :sunny:

Good to read a positive story! Thanks for sharing!

I love second hand shops, that’s where all my clothes come from.

Congrats on the new apt! It’s always great to read about people doing well, being happy . I’m planning on moving, as well, when my lease runs out in August. I currently live in a rough neighborhood that makes my paranoia worse, so yeah, gotta move to a better neighborhood, one way or another.

I’m feeling fantastic too! My mood is good, content, even. No paranoia, no hallucinations. No anxiety. My arthritis pain is being controlled with Naproxen and Tramadol. God is on my side. I feel good.
