Mate. Hang in there.

If your not totally cluster then 6 weeks is usually a good sign if it’s going ok. If it’s earlier it might pay to talk to your shrink. I know you take depots…I’ve always been a pill guy so not sure about all that.

What really is the issue? You down? You agitated?..figure out what isn’t going well and get it reported back to your doctor.

Don’t suffer. Figure out what isn’t working and hit up your treatment team!

Hey folks I just feel hopeless - absolutely no hope

mate. Don’t do anything stupid. It’s not a good place to be and you need some help.

Please. Ring emergency if you can’t do it on your own. IT’s not normal to think such things and you need some help to get it right!

I felt depressed yesterday, sad and alone. You could do something you enjoy doing. I hope you will feel better soon.

I’d ask for an emergency appointment. Maybe he could slow down the rate at which you’re coming off seroquel.

When I spoke to my nurse she seemed kinda reluctant to get in touch with my pdoc. I don’t fully understand why but I wasn’t in a mindset to argue my case

Yah med changes are hard, but it is going to do some good. Your doctor is smart he knows what will help. It just takes time to get it into your system for it to work. Its tough to endure, have some ice cream. and be good to yourself in other ways, a slow walk, some deep breaths or a good book or magazine. little things to show yourself you care.

You are probably a bit neurotic.

Neurosis: a relatively mild mental illness that is not caused by organic disease, involving symptoms of stress (depression, anxiety, obsessive behaviour, hypochondria) but not a radical loss of touch with reality.

So, whatever is going on. Whether you are dealing with med changes or whatever, your mind always seems to create some issue for you to be occupied with.

hey Jim, try and do things to cheer yourself up, something you enjoy, hope you feel better soon

Hang in there @anon94176359.
You have to ride it out.
If things become too overwhelming then make sure you call emergency services.

Hey, @anon94176359. I don’t really have any advice that hasn’t already been given, but I just wanted to let you know I care and I’m sorry you’re feeling so bad lately with the med change.

People care about you on here and I’m pretty sure you have lots of other people who do as well. Depression feels awful. I hope your meds start working. Hold on.

It’s okay @anon94176359. Depression sucks, but you will get through it. Any friends you can call to talk or be with for awhile? If you are worried you might hurt yourself, call someone who you can be with until you feel safer, or go to the emergency room if it gets really bad. We love you @anon94176359. I hope you feel better very soon. :hugs:
