Feeling better now

So I took my mom to the doctor. I had anxiety there. I’m on 50 mg hydroxyzine for anxiety. I didn’t think I needed it. It relaxes me. You take it at night and it relaxes you. It stays in your system for 100 hours. I knew it had a similar structure to benadryl without the sedation. So for the past month I couldn’t breathe from my grass Pollen allergy. The hydroxyzine works on allergies. While I was taking it I had no allergy problems. I didn’t know that. Plus one one of the pills I’m on speeds up your heart, I went to the doctor he said take magnesium to slow your heart rate. Magnesium knocked me out all day. It was terrible. While I was on hydroxyzine in the past it slowed my heart rate

That’s good you’re feeling better.

I take hydroxyzine too as a prn. It’s helped me out significantly. I had no idea it stays in your system that long.

Take care.

Yeah, hydroxyzine is an antihistamine that’s also used for anxiety. Phenergan/promethazine is also an antihistamine but used for nausea. Pepcid/famotidine, antihistamine used for acid reflux.

Antihistamines are weird. They use them for ■■■■■■■ everything

I didn’t know that was a side/effect of magnesium. Good to know :astonished:
