Feel pretty worthless

Like I’m a piece of trash.

No, you are not…You are special just like others…

I am sorry if someone hurt you or made you feel this way…You are dear to many.

I also feel I am easily hurt, verbally or even if it’s just a small matter, everyone is just different maybe if we could accept this fact we could have peace

Sometimes the colder temperatures can really mess with depression and more so at night. All you can do sometimes is rug up in your most warmest comfortablest clothing and ride it out.

Not really. I just feel my colleague behind me hates sitting with me :frowning:

You have been through a lot the last few weeks or so. From the mood swings to the driving instructor problems if I remember rightly. Would all add to the stress and depression.

Try not to jump to conclusions with your colleague. They may be going through some problems themselves . Could always ask as maybe they need a friend too.

She’s fine. I just can’t control these negative thoughts.

Sometimes it’s easier just to think of them as random irrational thoughts. You seem a very nice person and glad I’ve got to know a little about you.

See if these help any also.

The plum.

You can learn that you cannot be loved by all people

You can be the finest PLUM in the world,

RIPE – JUICY – SUCCULENT

And offer yourself to all.

However you must remember there will always be people who do not like plums.

You can learn to understand that if you are the world’s finest plum,

And someone you like does not like plums

You have a choice of becoming a banana.

However, you need to be warned that if you choose to become a banana,

You will be a second-rate banana,

However, you can always be the best plum.

You need to understand that if you choose to be a second-rate banana,

There will always be people who do not like bananas,

Furthermore, you can spend your life trying to become the best banana (which is impossible if you are a plum),

Or: You can seek again to be the

BEST PLUM!! - Anon

The Flower.

The park bench was deserted as I sat down to read
Beneath the long, straggly branches of an old willow tree.
Disillusioned by life with good reason to frown,
For the world was intent on dragging me down.

And if that weren’t enough to ruin my day,
A young boy out of breath approached me, all tired from play.
He stood right before me with his head tilted down
And said with great excitement, “Look what I found!”

In his hand was a flower, and what a pitiful sight,
With its petals all worn - not enough rain, or too little light.
Wanting him to take his dead flower and go off to play,
I faked a smile and then shifted away.

But instead of retreating he sat by my side
And placed the flower to his nose and declared with surprise,
“It sure smells pretty and it’s beautiful too.
That’s why I picked it; here, it’s for you.”

The weed before me was dying or dead.
Not vibrant of colors: orange, yellow or red.
But I knew I must take it, or he might never leave.
So I reached for the flower, and replied, “Just what I need.”

But instead of him placing the flower in my hand,
He held it mid-air without reason or plan.
It was then that I noticed for the first time
That weed-toting boy could not see: he was blind.

I heard my voice quiver; tears shone in the sun
As I thanked him for picking the very best one.
“You’re welcome,” he smiled, and then ran off to play,
Unaware of the impact he’d had on my day.

I sat there and wondered how he managed to see
A self-pitying man beneath an old willow tree.
How did he know of my self-indulged plight?
Perhaps from his heart, he’d been blessed with true sight.

Through the eyes of a blind child, at last I could see
The problem was not with the world; the problem was me.
And for all of those times I myself had been blind,
I vowed to appreciate every second that’s mine.

And then I held that wilted flower up to my nose
And breathed in the fragrance of a beautiful rose
And smiled as I watched that young boy, another weed in hand,
About to change the life of an unsuspecting old man. - Anon.

She prolly hates it cause ur so beautiful.

Because telling a young teenager that on the internet will help.

You will have dark days, but believe that right around the corner is the sunlight. Maybe take a multivitamin or vitamin D. Exercising helps to lift the mood, so even if you just turn on some music and dance it will help.

@Dreamscape

I’ll be adding those poems to my quote book. Thank you for sharing.

She’s not a teen… Right?

I thought she was.

Yeah… I certainly hope not. I thought she was 28 or 30. Older than me.

Oh, okay. She looked really young in her picture. I must have confused her with someone else.

Right well… I regret saying anything. Meant the best by it though.

I felt worthless earlier tonight - I am cycling @anon80629714, and there is a good chance that you are too, hang in there - you can always ask about adjusting your meds, I am going to do this tomorrow

Pictures can be deceiving my colleague is stunning. I’m 29 but that’s ok I’ve been told I look younger often even at the checkout when I tried to buy a lottery ticket. Lol

Wave, thank you so much. As I don’t understand my own moods since I don’t have experience of looking out for them it certainly helps to know your not alone. Hope you feel better.

You’re not going to like everyone and not everyone will like you. You are worth everything to those that love you, as for the rest, they don’t really matter.
