Facing your fears

What are methods you use to face your fears? I have found out that by doing things I may fear actually help me and often these fears are meaningless.

I have to stop thinking about what I fear, and walk out the door.
Nothing is worse that spending hours dreading something I have to do, when I could have done it in 10 minutes if I’d just do it.

I try to not think just do

I’m sorry to say… I have to ease in to it…

first I have to go some where new with someone I trust… then… second visit… they have to be in the car…

By the third time… I can usually get somewhere new by myself and be ok.

If it’s for work… I need to sort of convince myself I’ve done something like this before and it turned out OK.

The thing is… I also have to NOT start second guessing myself… because then I’m starting to wind myself up in to an anxiety attack. It’s hard to do… but I’ve been working on trusting what I know about myself and others… like everything… somedays are better then others.

i don’t fear anything…but that is a problem in itself.
