Face to face talking

I often don’t say much. It’s not always easy to know how to respond appropriately. .

Me neither. And I don’t have much to say. I do nothing. I just have delusions and hallucinations. If a listener is ok with that, I can vent about my symptoms

That’s very much the case with me. How do you spin a conversation round the fact you’re online practically all day and do very little else?

Normal people are so busy and they have so many topics they can talk about.

I have a friend i meet for coffee maybe once a month. Luckily, he has enough to talk about in his life that he carries the conversation. I really don’t say much but it all works out.

one of the most confusing things about me is i’m not much of a talker, so when i’m not saying anything and people know i have a mental illness i can usually tell when they are wondering “is he being quiet cause he usually is or is he doing something mentally ill in there?” haha.

that being said i thought this thread was something else from the title, whether you prefer talking face to face or over electronic devices. oops.
